We're looking for a Senior Developer to be part of making this happen. About The Role Arctic Wolf Networks is looking for a Quality Engineer - Test Automation to help us revolutionize the way that network security is delivered to businesses. Our hardworking team is passionate about building a cloud-based solution that will solve the real world security problems that IT professionals face. You will be responsible for automating quality control for some of our key internal software used by the security services team. Responsibilities Include Work with team members to understand existing manual test processes Augment and create software frameworks to support test automation Develop tools to provide Infrastructure-as-Code to enable automated tests Deliver end-to-end automated test frameworks that integrates with API-driven microservices architecture Integrate automated test frameworks with existing CI/CD technologies Continuously learn and expand your technical horizons Our Technology Stack: Selenium/Playwright, Pytest, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenAPI, Kafka, Golang, Postgres, Linux. Guide team on testing best practices and workflows. Get new hires up to speed on the teams testing frameworks and practices. Once a year we hold a department-wide Hackathon, teaming up across all R&D teams over four days to collaborate and build cool ideas outside the normal project scope. While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into our products. About You You're an experienced software developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges with little to no guidance. You care about writing quality code that is maintainable. Colleagues look to you for guidance on software development best practices. You work well within a highly collaborative and functional team. You love taking a manual process and automating it to save time and increase reliability. Here Are Some Of The Core Technologies We Use And Teach Across Our Teams. You Should Have Significant Experience In One Or More Of These, Or Similar Technologies - Have 2+ years of experience shipping quality software - Love driving high software quality - Have experience deploying services on cloud computing platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure, GCP) - Are an expert using common tools for executing functional, load and fuzz testing - Have worked on distributed systems and microservices architecture (preferred) - Have experience working on stream processing architectures (e.g. Kafka, Flink) In addition, you may have demonstrated leadership experience from previous projects, regardless of title held. Even if you haven't worked with all of our specific technologies, you bring a diverse knowledge base that you use to help the team solve complex technical problems. Exposure to automated test infrastructure in a cloud environment, computer networking and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies are an additional asset. You'll receive all the security training you need during our onboarding process and through additional training on the job.
