Job Purpose Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical and surgical wards ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to hospital policies procedures and NABH standards Key Responsibilities Patient Care Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for patients under medical and surgical categories Monitor vital signs administer medications and maintain accurate patient records Assist in preoperative and postoperative care including wound care drains and catheters Provide patient education regarding disease treatment medications and post-discharge care Clinical Procedures Support Assist doctors during examinations procedures and minor surgeries in the ward Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control practices Ensure timely reporting of changes in patient condition to the concerned physician Administer injections IV fluids blood transfusions and other prescribed therapies Documentation Compliance Maintain accurate patient charts nursing notes and medication records Ensure compliance with NABH hospital policies and standard operating procedures SOPs Participate in clinical audits quality improvement programs and infection control activities Teamwork Communication Collaborate with doctors physiotherapists dietitians and other healthcare professionals Provide emotional support to patients and families Train and guide junior nurses trainees and support staff in ward activities Other Responsibilities Maintain stock and supplies of ward equipment and medications Participate in emergency response and disaster management within the ward Attend departmental meetings training sessions and continuing nursing education programs Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
