Job Title Fabric Warehouse Manager Department Fabric Store Reporting To Fabric Cutting Manager Location Barasat Regent Park Barasat - 700124 Job Summary The Fabric Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the fabric warehouse including receiving storing issuing inventory control and documentation of fabrics The role ensures that all fabric movements are properly tracked quality-checked and made available to production as per plan maintaining accuracy accountability and efficiency Key Responsibilities 1 Fabric Receipt Inspection Supervise the unloading and receiving of fabrics from suppliers Verify fabrics against purchase orders and delivery challans Coordinate with the QA department for fabric quality inspection and approval Record and maintain GRN Goods Received Note and inspection reports 2 Storage Inventory Management Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to ensure easy identification and traceability Implement proper fabric segregation by type color lot roll number etc Ensure fabrics are stored under suitable environmental conditions Maintain up-to-date inventory records physical system-based Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies 3 Fabric Issue to Production Plan and issue fabric to cutting or production departments as per requisition Maintain fabric issue slips acknowledgment and return notes Track fabric consumption and returns from production for cost control 4 Documentation ERP System Management Update stock movement in ERP or manual registers on a daily basis Maintain records for GRN fabric issue return transfer and stock reports Generate monthly MIS reports on stock status and fabric utilization 5 Coordination Communication Liaise with purchase merchandising production and quality teams for material planning Coordinate with transport logistics for timely fabric movement Support internal and external audits commercial or compliance 6 Compliance Safety Ensure adherence to company policies safety norms and compliance standards Maintain housekeeping standards and fire safety precautions in the warehouse Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of fabric types GSM dye lots and shrinkage control Good understanding of garment production workflow Proficiency in Excel and ERP Warehouse Management Systems WMS Analytical detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills Leadership and team management abilities Qualification Experience Graduate Diploma in Textile Garment Manufacturing Supply Chain Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a fabric or material warehouse in the garment industry Experience in ERP-based inventory systems preferred About Shreeji Manufacturing Company At Shreeji Manufacturing Company we re reimagining garment manufacturing with creativity and care Based in Kolkata and known for our expertise in knitwear we proudly supply to leading retailers such as Zudio Strategic partner Bazaar Kolkata Lux - to name a few Our design-led approach and client-first mindset are powered by a young ambitious team that believes every order is an opportunity to grow improve and impress as we expand our reach beyond domestic markets into global partnerships With a daily production capacity of over 60 000 pcs per day we are aiming to grow our think tank to be one of the best in East India Our story is built on a legacy of over four decades in the apparel industry with the founding family bringing deep experience across sourcing product and supply chain Over the last 15 years Shreeji has sharpened its focus on manufacturing building a strong footprint in the industry for on time deliveries at scale with unmatched quality designs Why Work with Shreeji If you thrive in a fast-paced growth-driven environment where ideas matter and people take ownership you ll fit right in At Shreeji you ll get to Work with leading fashion and retail brands in India and beyond Be part of a dynamic team that values creativity initiative and continuous learning Experience a culture of collaboration warmth and accountability Grow with a company that s scaling rapidly and setting new benchmarks in quality and service Job Type Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
