Job Description Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting - Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex diagnostic and laboratory equipment. - Ensure all systems and machines operate efficiently, safely, and within required performance standards. Team Leadership & Supervision - Lead and supervise a team of technicians, offering guidance, training, mentoring, and performance support. - Allocate and prioritize daily work assignments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Maintenance & Equipment Management - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and avoid downtime. - Develop, review, and implement maintenance procedures, SOPs, and protocols to enhance equipment reliability. - Maintain accurate logs of repairs, calibration, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory. Project & Operational Support - Collaborate with engineers, biomedical teams, and project managers on equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning. - Support continuous improvement projects focusing on safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Compliance & Quality Assurance - Ensure adherence to hospital safety guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain a high level of operational discipline within diagnostic/lab environments. Continuous Learning - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in diagnostics, laboratory operations, and biomedical systems.
