The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and implementing cloud architecture solutions using AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to fulfil their requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices.
- Lead and manage cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines.
- Automate and optimize workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS services relevant to application migrations, such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and EBS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud deployments.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on AWS.
- Strong understanding of cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and cloud migration strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
