Job Description Job Title Internist Hematologist Location Caribbean Island (Full-Time, On-Site) Compensation Based on Experience Position Summary A leading hospital in the Caribbean is seeking a qualified and experienced Internist Hematologist to join its growing multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of blood disorders and haematologic diseases while providing comprehensive patient care in collaboration with other specialists. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage haematologic conditions such as anaemia, coagulation disorders, leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Develop individualised treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices. Prescribe and administer therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and transfusions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as required for optimal outcomes. Collaborate with laboratory and pathology teams to perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as bone marrow biopsies and blood smears. Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols. Support research and professional education within the internal medicine department. Requirements Qualifications Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Haematology. Valid license to practice as an InternistHematologist. Minimum 35 years of post-specialization clinical experience. Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic haematology procedures. Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of haematologic and internal medicine disorders.
