Job Description Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any relevant field). - 13+ years of experience in managing and developing suppliers and strategic sourcing. We Value: - Problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change and influence others. - Strong technical background, ideally in Electronics, Plastics, and Sheet Metal. - Techno-commercial background with experience in zero-based costing. - Advanced Quality Engineering Practices and experience with quality assurance processes. - Self-starter, able to work independently, and passionate about solving complex problems. - Experience with mechanical commodities like Plastics, Castings, Machining, Sheet Metal, and Fabrication. - Ability to mentor suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve processes and quality. - Strong data analytics, presentation, and communication skills. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and handle multiple complex situations daily. Key Responsibilities: - Drive NPI/VE/CE Projects: Work closely with suppliers on localization, global transitions, and tariff mitigation projects. - Global Collaboration: Collaborate with global COE/RCOE and GCMs to identify opportunities with HGR India-based suppliers for North America and EMEA regions. - End-to-End Supplier Transitions: Manage the end-to-end transition of India-based preferred suppliers to global sites, coordinating with Procurement, Site Quality, and Category Manager organizations. - Supplier Qualification: Responsible for supplier qualification through Honeywell Supplier Common Assessment and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process). - Quality and Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on supplier productivity, implementing initiatives to improve supplier performance. - Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for major supplier quality issues. - Data Analytics: Use data analytics to identify the most critical issues, ensuring focused efforts on high-priority problems. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface with suppliers, quality, operations, engineering, and procurement teams to drive quality improvements. - Lead Qualification Teams: Lead cross-functional teams for new supplier qualification and first article qualification. - End-to-End Project Execution: Take full responsibility for the execution and implementation of projects. Additional Skills/Qualifications: - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor teams. - Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with global teams. - Strong quantitative and analytical skills to support decision-making and process improvements. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all organizational levels.
