Looking for a senior professional with experience in high-level political strategy, capable of supporting the client and Lead Political Strategist through effective team management and strategic insight.

Details:

The Political Liaison will support the Team Lead in guiding strategic initiatives and bridging communication between the team and the client's office. This role involves overseeing daily team operations, ensuring strategic alignment with the client's vision, and managing high-stakes relationships with political stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support & Advising

- Stand in for the Team Lead in meetings, ensuring continuity in decision-making.
- Provide political insights and policy advice to the client, aligning team output with the client's priorities.

Team Operations & Oversight

- Manage daily operations of the Political Insights team, coordinating roles to deliver timely reports, policy briefs, and analysis.
- Review content before submission to the client, ensuring high quality and strategic alignment.

Liaison & Communication

- Act as the main contact between the client's office and the Political Insights team, keeping both parties informed of updates, decisions, and progress.
- Facilitate smooth communication to implement the client's directives effectively.

Understanding Karnataka's Political Landscape

- Leverage deep knowledge of Karnataka's social nuances and demographic dynamics to ensure team insights align with local sensitivities.
- Articulate team recommendations into actionable steps that align with the client's political strategy.

Stakeholder Management

- Advise the client on political alliances, stakeholder relationships, and the broader political landscape.
- Prepare briefing notes to support the client in engagements with political figures.

External Engagement & Outreach

- Oversee political outreach activities and provide input on public engagement strategies to ensure consistent messaging.
- Guide outreach efforts, especially during key events like elections or media appearances.

Crisis Management

- Support crisis management efforts, advising on political risks and coordinating team responses during high-stakes situations.

Team Development

- Mentor team members to build skills in political analysis, communication, and strategy, fostering a cohesive and effective team environment.

Qualifications:

- Education: Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in political advisory, campaign management, or policy consulting, with senior-level political experience and a strong understanding of political dynamics, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder relations.
