- Resource Management : Manage staffing levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient and effective nursing unit operations. This includes budgeting, resource allocation, and inventory control.
- Training and Development : Provide training and professional development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Patient and Family Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with patients and their families, addressing their concerns and providing information about care plans and progress.
- Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as conducting regular audits, reviewing clinical outcomes, and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
