The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, takes ownership, and can translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. - Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Optimize application performance, reliability, and security. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning. - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a Tier 1 college. - 2+ years of backend development experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably a startup). - Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Python, Go, or Java. - Experience with frameworks such as Express, Django, or Spring Boot. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL). - Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Nice to Have - Exposure to distributed systems and large-scale applications. - Experience in an early-stage startup or building products from scratch. - Passion for innovation, ownership, and problem-solving.
