Senior Product Engineer

At SentiSum, we're building the AI-native Voice Of Customer platform, helping top consumer brands understand why customers churn and what to do about it. We turn noisy support tickets, reviews, chats, and surveys into clear retention signals. As a Senior Backend Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling the systems behind that intelligence, working across data pipelines, event-driven architecture, and product logic to deliver real outcomes. You won't just build APIs, you'll help shape features that drive revenue, retention, and product excellence. What you'll do - Own and evolve core backend systems, from data ingestion to product logic - Design scalable, event-driven services that power real-time insights - Work closely with Product, AI, and Frontend to bring new features to life - Help simplify architecture, reduce tech debt, and improve performance - Contribute to key engineering decisions and mentor where needed You might be a fit if - You've built and scaled backend systems in a product-led company - You have 4-8 years of experience, primarily in product tech companies - You care about impact - and think in outcomes, not just endpoints - You're comfortable working across distributed systems and async architectures - Bonus: You've worked with feedback data, AI/ML, or analytics-heavy platforms Our stack - Languages: Java, Python - Infra: Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS - Search & Storage: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, S3 Why join us - Work on a product that drives real business impact for customers - Small, senior team high trust, high ownership, no fluff - Bootstrapped, profitable, and building for the long term - Opportunity to shape the future of AI-native customer intelligence Salary: 25 lac - 40 lac + bonus + ESOPS
