This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 6 years Location: Pune JobType: full-time We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Consultant with 6+ years of experience in ABAP development, including hands-on involvement in at least 2 end-to-end implementation projects and 2 support projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with functional and business teams. Requirements Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions in line with business requirements. - Participate in full-cycle SAP implementation activities, including requirement gathering, development, testing, and post-go-live support. - Provide L2/L3 support for SAP ABAP issues in support environments. - Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (RICEF), and user exits. - Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. - Optimize and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs for performance enhancements. - Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices. - Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience. - Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and 2 support projects. - Strong expertise in Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, and User Exits. - Hands-on experience with SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms. - Knowledge of Data Dictionary, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services. - Familiarity with OData services and ABAP on HANA (preferred). - Experience in performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs. - Understanding of SAP module integration points (SD, MM, FI, PP). - Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - SAP ABAP Certification (optional but preferred). - Experience with S/4HANA environments. - Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 integration is an added advantage.
