Job Description

Hello All,

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to own and develop the core cloud services for enterprise-grade solutions. The role involves designing, configuring, administering, and optimizing Azure cloud services to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud architecture, databases, automation, and monitoring strategies, with additional exposure to IoT and advanced Azure services being a plus.

Job Type

- Permanent / Contract (Flexible, based on business requirements and candidate preference)

Key Responsibilities

- Own and develop core Azure cloud services for enterprise product deployments.
- Configure, administer, and set up Azure services, databases, storage, and data lakes.
- Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases and related services.
- Implement Azure cost optimization and usage monitoring strategies.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor and maintain cloud service health, logs, and performance.
- Ensure solutions are built using the right Azure services with adherence to enterprise best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, scalability, and resilience of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of relevant experience in building commercial enterprise products, with at least 2 years on Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of the Azure cloud service landscape.
- Proven experience in building and managing enterprise Azure solutions.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Configuration, administration, and setup of Azure services
- Azure SQL databases, storage accounts, and data lakes
- IaC automation using Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent tools
- Azure monitoring and cost optimization strategies
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with Azure IoT Framework, IoT Hub, and Device Provisioning Service (DPS).
- Knowledge of IoT architectures (hot and cold path).
- Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and service health monitoring.
- Familiarity with secure telemetry, routing configuration, firewalls, VPNs, and cross-region networking.
- Experience in Azure Functions, Stream Analytics, and serverless computing.
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or IoT-specific) are a strong plus.

Education

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
