About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS core services, automation tools, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage applications and services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.). - Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Manage and optimize networking, storage, and compute resources for cost and performance. - Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. - Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config. - Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security, compliance, and scalability requirements. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for incidents. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment and improve system reliability. Required skills & Experience: - 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure. - Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and EKS/ECS. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments. - Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and network configuration. - Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy). - Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus). - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM best practices. Preferred qualifications: - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. - Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB). - Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation. - Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning within AWS.
