Java Production Support Engineer

Designs, implements, maintains, enhances, tests, monitors and investigate production issues with the software. We're looking for a Data Reliability Engineer to join the Data Reliability Engineering (DRE) team. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues across Java applications, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, SQL, and Snowflake. Key Responsibilities - 3-6 years of experience in providing L4/ engineering support for data and application issues in production. - Troubleshoot ADF pipeline failures, SQL/Snowflake query issues, and Java integration errors. - Perform root cause analysis and coordinate permanent fixes with core development teams. - Monitor system health, automate routine checks, and maintain runbooks. - Participate in on-call rotation and incident/change management processes. Skills Required - Strong in Java, Angular and SQL. - Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Splunk, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Power BI). - Excellent analytical and communication skills. Good To Have - Knowledge of Snowflake (queries, optimization, monitoring). Azure Data Factory and ETL workflows. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell). - Experience in data reliability or observability frameworks.
