TL DR VERSION FreeElective Network Pvt Ltd based in Chennai introduced and operates Jodi365 com a premium personalized matchmaking service for elite singles We understand that elite singles may be at different stages of their lives and careers with different time frames for getting married We work closely with discerning clients and help them find the right partner at a pace that s right for them Our reach is global and we have earned much goodwill since 2009 by bringing people together Just as important We have a validated business model and are growing briskly We are looking to add to our team an enthusiastic competent public relations executive to manage our external communications in ways that promote our business and enhance its popularity ABOUT THIS JOB The ideal Public Relations Marketing Communications Executive will possess creativity and knowledge of different tactics to identify and engage our target audience and appropriate external parties The work would nominally be at FreeElective Network s office in the heart of Chennai a few miles from the IIT-Madras campus Most of the team has been working remotely since March 2020 and the option to work from home could be made available over time The position represents a terrific opportunity to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment especially for someone who is interested in a career in marketing especially communications and public relations If you think your particular skills and experience would add to our team we would love to hear from you RESPONSIBILITIES Devise effective PR plans use a variety of marketing channels to maximize brand exposure tastefully and coordinate all PR activities Manage inbound and outbound media enquiries interview requests and public-speaking opportunities at events and conferences Create content for press releases newsletters company updates and other marketing copy for external communications Assess and create opportunities for sponsorships advertising and other partnerships Keenly observe industry and societal trends affecting our target audience and make relevant recommendations for appropriate communication strategies Leverage existing and new media relationships to drive brand awareness Analyze and present results of PR campaigns or efforts Assist management team in ensuring efficient progress of workflow and transforming business visions into reality QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS Experience or demonstrated interest in public relations marketing communications or similar role Solid experience in social media marketing Excellent English communication negotiation and selling skills Working knowledge of office productivity software e g Excel Google Sheets and relevant digital marketing tools PREFERENCES Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns Fluent in at least one other Indian language besides English Bachelor s or higher degree in marketing communications journalism business or related field DESIRED SOFT SKILLS Team player with strong analytical and project management skills Organized and detail-oriented individual who works well with deadlines Willingness to learn switch roles as necessary and to roll up one s sleeves to get a job done Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment Energized by the opportunities and challenges of working at a small and growing company SOME TIPS BEFORE YOU APPLY We take this process seriously and hope that you do too Here are some tips as you consider applying Please review our web sites -
