- Job Title : Senior Azure data engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Microsoft Fabric: Experience with Lakehouse architecture, notebooks, and warehousing

- PySpark: Proficiency in writing PySpark code for data transformation

- SQL: Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and analysis

- Data Factory: Experience with pipeline design, control flows, and data flows

- Power BI: Strong skills in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query

- Data Modeling: Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts

- ETL/ELT: Experience designing and implementing data pipelines

Nice to Have:

- Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

- CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps practices for data solutions

- Data Governance: Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in data engineering roles

- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft data platform technologies

- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, or similar (preferred)

- Demonstrated experience building end-to-end data solutions

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

- Experience in industries with complex data requirements (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Applicaiton Development and Implementation with Microfost Fabric and Power BI Technology

Key Responsibilities :

Data Engineering

- Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric's Lakehouse and Warehouse architecture

- Create and optimize data pipelines for ingestion from various source systems

- Develop notebooks with PySpark and SQL for data transformation and preparation

- Apply best practices for data modeling and optimization

- Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to ensure proper data architecture

- Optimize warehouse performance for complex analytical queries

- Create documentation for warehouse structures and data lineage

Data Factory

- Build robust data ingestion processes using Data Factory

- Design and implement complex data pipelines with proper error handling

- Create control flows for orchestrating data processing activities

- Develop data flows for code-free transformations

- Implement scheduling, monitoring, and alerting for all data pipelines

Power BI

- Connect Power BI to various data sources and prepare data for analysis

- Create efficient data models with proper relationships and hierarchies

- Implement row-level security and other data governance features

- Collaborate with business analysts to ensure data models meet reporting needs

- Optimize Power BI models for performance and usability
