Job Description Job Summary: - Our client is building an AI Center of Excellence to standardize and scale AI/ML adoption across the enterprise. The Technical Capability Owner will define AI/ML architectures, tools, guardrails and persona-approved toolsets across AWS and Databricks to ship reliable ML and GenAI solutions. This role bridges AI, enterprise architecture, data science, security, and business teams - driving consistency, governance, and developer enablement. The successful candidate will shape the technical roadmap, establish reusable frameworks, guide platform adoption, and communicate effectively to audiences from engineering guilds to executives. Experience: - 812+ years in data/ML platform engineering, ML architecture, or similar roles - Hands on experience architecting, building, and deploying GenAI and ML enterprise solutions - 3+ years designing at enterprise scale on AWS and Databricks - Deep experience defining reference architectures, golden paths, and reusable accelerators - Strong MLOps knowledge: MLflow, CI/CD for ML, feature stores, model serving, observability, drift detection - GenAI proficiency: RAG patterns, vector search, prompt orchestration, evaluation, safety/guardrails - Security-by-design mindset (IAM/KMS, data classification, secrets management, compliance) - Proven ability to organize and lead large technical communities (guilds, workshops, enablement programs) - Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences Nice to Have: - AWS or Databricks certifications (Solutions Architect, ML Specialty, Lakehouse/ML) - Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Unity Catalog, or Delta Live Tables - Background in manufacturing, industrial IoT, or edge environments
