Job Description

- Proofread and copyedit complex deliverables ensuring accuracy and consistency across base files and final outputs per business unit requirements
- Apply client style guides (AMA, Vancouver, etc.) to review language, spelling, grammar, word choice, and formatting for readability and consistency
- Review and rewrite scientific content for writing quality, client-appropriate style, and linguistic accuracy
- Utilize various medical communication media while addressing storytelling sensitivities and target audience needs
- Assist in developing internal training assets and knowledge documentation
- Proficient in multiple writing styles (active/passive voice, marketing/scientific content)
- Standardize proofreading and editing processes
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to meet deadlines and flag quality issues to leads
- Review work of copy editors and junior associates; provide feedback and guidance on client requirements and quality standards
- Develop guidelines for copyediting and quality assurance
- Ensure adherence to organizational, divisional, and client policies on quality, information security, and data privacy
- Maintain confidentiality, copyright compliance, and follow security standards (ISMS, ISO, CMMI)

Desired Profile:

- Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences or English Literature
