Job Description Job Title Data Engineer (Databricks Experience) Job Nature Full-time Experience 46 years Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and AI-driven initiatives. This role involves working with modern cloud-based data platforms, developing robust data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable reliable and secure data access across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing. Build and optimize data models and data lake/warehouse architectures to support analytics and machine learning. Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all workflows. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to enable data-driven solutions. Integrate data from diverse sources such as databases, APIs, and streaming platforms. Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability. Contribute to best practices, documentation, and re-usable components Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java). Hands-on experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, ADF, Step Functions). Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Spark or Flink. Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. Preferred Qualifications Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs, Pub/Sub). Exposure to Lakehouse architecture and tools like Databricks, Snowflake, or Big Query. Knowledge of data governance and cataloging (e.g., Purview, Glue, Unity Catalog). Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and collaboration with data science teams. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment. High attention to detail and follow-up discipline. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under deadlines. Collaborative and adaptable in working with diverse teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
