About the team Come and join us At Oracle NetSuite we believe the cloud is here to stay and so do our 20 000 customers We believe businesses should not be bogged down by the overhead of bulky data centers and expensive personnel to run it all Businesses need to be lean efficient and agile NetSuite is practically redefining business around the globe by providing a cloud-based unified system that delivers outstanding capabilities to drive business forward Founded in 1998 as THE cloud ERP pioneer Oracle s NetSuite global business unit has transformed the business operations of our customers without the high costs and inefficiency of on-premise systems At Oracle NetSuite we work hard and we work thoughtfully We hire steadfast competitors We hire individuals that are daring trail blazers Oracle NetSuite employees take the hill we prefer action over inaction we are diligent in our mission and we pause only to celebrate our success And we DO celebrate because if you don t have fun along the way then what s the point Job Summary Come and join us The Senior Consultant for Financial Planning will be responsible for working on customer projects to understand and validate customer business requirements in budgeting forecasting and reporting and to map the requirements to Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service PBCS functionalities They will work with the customer and NetSuite project team to configure and customize Oracle PBCS to meet customer business requirements The Senior Consultant will be required to conduct sessions with the customer and NetSuite project team over the phone attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and work They will provide customers and fellow consultants with as needed general and technical assistance and be a go-to resource for specific functions of PBCS The Senior Consultant will be encouraged to contribute to the solutions repository standard methodologies and knowledge share activities at NetSuite Responsibilities include Consults on Oracle PBCS projects conducting working sessions and performing offline project tasks for customers that include requirement analysis solution design system configuration system and user-acceptance testing administrator and key user training deployment and post go-live support Responsible for leading all phases of the Oracle NetSuite Financial Consolidation and Close implementation including business alignment workshops designing and configuring the system as per leading practices and working with customers in creating a positive experience Demonstrates experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative Additional responsibilities include leading the implementation of Oracle Narrative Reporting Solution and Financial Reporting Understand reporting requirements from discovery through development Communicate with key customer resources to create and maintain documentation for configurations processes and best practices Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of financial and transaction data requires evaluation of numerous factors Documents fixes and advances Support issues outside defined parameters Assists Project Managers with managing project scope and setting expectations with the customers Shift range between 2 pm and 6 am Career Level -
