Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, printers, and other peripherals - Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software as per organizational standards - Troubleshoot and resolve operating system issues (Windows, macOS) and application problems - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory - Assist users with network connectivity, VPN, email, and security-related issues - Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management - Document support requests, solutions, and maintain knowledge base articles - Escalate complex technical issues to higher-tier support teams or vendors as necessary - Provide training and guidance to end-users on hardware and software usage - Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate with procurement for replacements or upgrades Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) - 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop or end-user support - Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications - Experience with Active Directory and user account management - Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop) - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate - Experience supporting macOS or Linux systems - Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) - Familiarity with endpoint security and antivirus tools
