Etl Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with fresh ideas having passion great acumen for ETL and data warehousing concepts Strong working experience in Informatica Power Center SQL and at least anyone scripting language is must Good working knowledge in Agile model and should possess strong problem-solving skills and handling critical situations Must have good knowledge of database systems and should be able to write basic and complex queries and have idea of advanced SQL concepts Should be familiar with both Windows and UNIX environment Key Responsibilities xc2 xb7 To interact with the Business onsite offshore counterparts to understand business requirement and transforming business rule into technical specifications xc2 xb7 Responsible for all activities related to the development implementation of ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using Informatica Power Center 10 5 xc2 xb7 Perform root cause analysis of job failures and propose solutions to perform complex troubleshooting xc2 xb7 Involved in preparation of unit test cases and executing Unit test plan as well Responsible for migration of informatica objects from one environment to another xc2 xb7 Involved in performance tuning of mappings and sql queries for better performance and efficiency xc2 xb7 Monitoring interfaces and informatica sessions resolving on-going maintenance issues and bug fixes xc2 xb7 Documentation for all the activities involved in different phases of development cycle xc2 xb7 Should be able to identify the areas of improvement and re-engineering scope xc2 xb7 Participating in discussions with cross commits xc2 xb7 Helping other team members to resolve their technical issues xc2 xb7 Mentoring the interns and new joiners xc2 xb7 Monitor and report issues and work with the required team vendor for quick resolution xc2 xb7 Should be open to learn new technologies tools Required Qualifications xc2 xb7 Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience xc2 xb7 2- 4 years of relevant experience xc2 xb7 Strong Informatica IICS and ETL fundamentals xc2 xb7 Should be experienced in Data Warehouse Data mart and OLAP implementations requirements gathering data modeling Effort Estimation ETL Design development System testing Implementation xc2 xb7 Hands-on experience on a job scheduling tool -
