Role: Personal Security Officer (Close Protection Officer) On-site, India Role & Responsibilities - Provide discreet close protection and physical security for assigned principals during static and mobile operations, ensuring safety at all times. - Conduct advance reconnaissance and route planning for movements, venues, and overnight stays to identify and mitigate potential risks. - Perform ongoing threat assessments and coordinate with local security teams, law enforcement, and drivers to maintain secure movement and access control. - Operate defensive driving and convoy procedures to safely transport principals under varied traffic and environmental conditions. - Execute surveillance detection and counter-surveillance measures; respond rapidly to incidents with de-escalation, containment, or extraction actions as required. - Maintain operational readiness through equipment checks, incident reporting, daily briefing/debriefing, and adherence to chain-of-command protocols. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Close Protection - Threat Assessment - Firearms Handling - Defensive Driving - Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance - Tactical Communications - First Aid - Emergency Evacuation Planning Preferred - Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) - VIP/Executive Protection experience in urban Indian contexts - Experience coordinating with local law enforcement and diplomatic security protocols Qualifications - Valid background verification and able to pass security screening (company-led). - Proven field experience as a PSO/Close Protection Officer or equivalent in private or corporate security environments. - Valid firearms proficiency certification where applicable and authorised for duty in assigned regions.
