Workload Automation Project Manager – Job Description

Summary

HCL Workload Automation Lab services team is looking for a Project Manager to help drive business growth through Professional services delivery and Migration Center of Excellence (COE) improvement. The HCL Software Lab Services team is a global organization responsible for delivering Professional Services to enable customers to gain their business values quickly by implementing HCL Workload Automation Solution.

Primary Focus for this Project Manager will be providing expert management to customer, owning migration and implementation projects from initial client assessment to successful completion, partnering with other teams in the organization and with the client.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and maintaining Project Plan and keeping track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards and address shortfalls.

Perform multiple roles related to the delivery of HCL Workload automation.

Responsibilities include Requirement gathering, Crafting the solution, Development, Testing, Implementation / Deployment of the solution, installation of HWA, integration with services

Migration of jobs to HWA, Testing, Go-Live, Hyper Care & Hand Over to Support. Customization, generation of reports from HWA, workflow and policies, authentication / authorization and SSO federation integration, applying security policies, compliance process and security regulation, Maintenance of the tools, and support.

Handle single to multiple accounts as required

Able to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance.

Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure.

Can build strong relationships with consultants within the project.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years of experience in End to End managing and delivering Business Intelligence IT projects.

Extensive working knowledge on SDLC and Agile based Data warehousing & Business Intelligence projects.

Exposure to the latest trends, technological advancements in the market in DW/BI space.

Experience in interacting with customers to understand their BI landscape and suggest suitable solutions

Demonstrable track record of success supporting and delivering complex projects

High level understanding of stakeholder management and influencing customers and senior management

Experience spanning a range of project sizes employing traditional and Agile/Scrum project delivery, Agile certifications is advantageous

Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments

Demonstrates strong communication, engagement and influencing skills

Appreciation of risk and how this can influence client decisions

Strong experience to consult directly with customers and offer strategic advice to enable objectives
