You will also leverage your experience in Java and related technologies to support modernization and integration initiatives. This role demands strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Perform impact analysis and provide estimates for development and enhancement tasks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mainframe systems with Java-based applications. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities. - Provide production support and resolve issues within defined SLAs. - Document technical solutions and maintain knowledge repositories. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Hands-on technical experience in developing Mainframe solutions using technologies including COBOL,DB2,JCL. - Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent programming and debugging skills. - Excellent problem solving & Analytical skills. Preferred qualifications - Experience in Mainframe to Java migration or integration projects - Experience in Java, Spring Boot, or related technologies. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and CICS web services. - Good working knowledge of Relational Databases. - Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
