Job Summary:

The Senior Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools, in support of real estate development projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure developments. This role ensures that all drawings meet company standards, are aligned with regulatory requirements, and support the timely and cost-effective delivery of development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and develop architectural and structural drawings, shop drawings, and detailed working plans for real estate development projects.
- Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from design teams, site engineers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, CAD files, and drawing registers.
- Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other disciplines to ensure design integration.
- Conduct site visits as needed to verify conditions and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Assist in developing construction documents, tender packages, and as-built drawings.
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings by relevant authorities.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably in a real estate development or consultancy environment.
- Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and other design software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and detailing.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning regulations, and authority submission processes.
- Experience in coordination of multidisciplinary drawings.

Soft Skills:

- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong team player with a proactive approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization tools is a plus.
