We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team for a high-rise residential project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Myee One shuttering systems and possess in-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, processes, and inspection protocols. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the construction quality, compliance with regulations, and that the project is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Control & Inspection:

- Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Perform inspections of materials, equipment, and completed works, particularly focusing on the use and implementation of Myee One shuttering systems.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation is properly maintained, including reports on inspections, tests, and non-compliance issues.
- Verify that all materials used in the construction meet the required quality standards and specifications.

1. Myee One Shuttering Systems Management:

- Oversee the proper use and installation of Myee One shuttering systems, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are correctly maintained.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues related to Myee One shuttering and formwork systems, collaborating with the construction team to find practical solutions.
- Inspect shuttering setups regularly to ensure structural integrity and safety before pouring concrete or proceeding to the next stage of construction.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain and update quality control documents, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality records, and compliance reports.
- Prepare and submit quality control reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action requests (CARs) to management.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review and analyse quality trends and implement corrective actions where necessary.

1. Collaboration with Construction Teams:

- Work closely with the site management, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all quality standards and specifications are met throughout the construction process.
- Provide guidance and training to construction staff on quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in regular site meetings to discuss progress, quality issues, and corrective actions.

1. Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:

- Ensure that all quality control processes, from material procurement to final inspection, are followed and continuously improved.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance practices on-site and recommend improvements.
- Identify potential risks and work proactively to prevent defects or delays due to quality issues.

1. Testing & Compliance:

- Coordinate and supervise any required testing of materials and structural elements, such as concrete strength or formwork integrity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure that all tests are documented and results are reviewed to confirm the project's compliance with specifications and local regulations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering or quality control on high-rise residential construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with Myee One shuttering systems and formwork processes.
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards, testing methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and tools, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Certification in quality control or relevant industry standards.
