Job Description A Claim Center testing role in Guidewire (GW) focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of the software, particularly within the Claims Management system. This involves testing functionalities related to claims processing, from reporting to verification and payment. These roles require a strong understanding of Guidewire Claim Center, testing methodologies (STLC, SDLC), and Agile project practices. Key Responsibilities - Test Case Design & Execution: Develop and execute test cases to verify that the software meets requirements and specifications. - Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved effectively. - Integration Testing: Test the interaction of Claim Center with other systems and components. - Performance Testing: Evaluate the system's performance under various load conditions. - User Story Demos: Present test results and findings to the development team and stakeholders. - Requirements Analysis: Work with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into testable scenarios. Skills & Qualifications - Guidewire Claim Center Expertise: Experience in working with Guidewire Claim Center is essential. - Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Agile Project Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes. - Testing Tools: Experience with testing tools and platforms relevant to Guidewire. - Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. Example Job Responsibilities - Functional Testing: - Verify that claim processing features, such as reporting, verification, and payment, work as expected. - Regression Testing: - Ensure that new features don't break existing functionality. - Data Validation: - Confirm that data is accurately entered, processed, and stored within Claim Center. - Integration Testing: - Verify that Claim Center integrates correctly with other systems, such as policy management and billing. - BlitzenX Solutions hiring GW Claims Center QA.
