Job Title: Teradata Technical Lead · Location: Bengaluru · Experience: 5+ · Mode of Work : Hybrid · Job Type : Contract to hire. · Notice Period: Immediate joiners. · Project Tenure: Long-term project Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Teradata Tech Lead with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and ETL processes, with additional knowledge of IBM DataStage and experience in the banking sector being a significant plus. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Teradata solutions. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Utilize IBM DataStage for data integration and management tasks. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Teradata, SQL, Datastage and ETL processes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Teradata Tech Lead with 3 to 5 years of experience. Proven experience in Performance Tuning for Teradata Models. Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes. Knowledge of IBM DataStage is highly desirable. Experience in the banking sector is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices. Familiarity with other data integration tools and technologies. Knowledge of data governance and data quality management. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
