Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer IBM Cloud

Location:Bangalore

Experience: 610 Years (Cloud Infrastructure & Automation)

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the overall infrastructure management for the ADi IBM Cloud Accounts.
- Manage cloud service health and performance, ensuring availability and reliability.
- Design and implement horizontal scalability for cloud services.
- Drive containerization of application functionality to support modernization and agility.
- Manage security and IAM to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of 3 environments (Development, Pre-Production, Production) across the ADi program.
- Manage the platforms logging and monitoring capabilities across the account.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and future scalability.

Required Skills & Expertise

- Strong expertise in IBM Cloud Infrastructure Architecture.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Experience with Instana for application performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud-native logging & monitoring tools, including IBM Activity Monitor.
- Strong understanding of containerization and microservices.
- Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Profile

- 610 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Prior experience in multi-environment management (Dev, PreProd, Prod).
- Exposure to security best practices and IAM in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
