The Driver in the automobile industry is responsible for safely transporting vehicles customers spare parts documents and staff as required The role includes vehicle movement within the workshop delivery of vehicles to customers and ensuring proper care of company demo vehicles Key Responsibilities Collect and deliver spare parts documents invoices or accessories between branches or vendors Maintain a daily logbook for kilometers fuel usage and vehicle movements Perform routine checks on vehicles fuel oil tyre pressure battery lights Report any damages scratches or mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor Keep the assigned vehicle clean and ensure all documents RC insurance PUC are up-to-date Follow all traffic rules company policies and safety guidelines while driving Use seat belts and ensure safe driving practices at all times Avoid rash or careless driving within the workshop premises Skills Qualifications Valid LMV or commercial driving license Minimum 1-3 years of driving experience automobile industry experience preferred Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations Ability to handle different types of vehicles manual automatic Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge Good communication discipline and customer-handling skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
