Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:
The QC Engineer will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. This role ensures that products meet the required specifications, standards, and customer expectations before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming mechanical components and sub-assemblies for dimensional and visual accuracy.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of machine assemblies.
- Prepare and maintain QC documentation such as inspection reports, deviation notes, and quality checklists.
- Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
- Ensure assembly processes comply with internal quality standards and ISO procedures.
- Use measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, etc.
- Collaborate with the production and design team for quality improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
- Participate in internal audits and support external quality inspections if required.
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of machine tools and assembly processes.
