Job Title PPC Engineer Department Production Planning and Control Reports To Production Manager Operations Head Location Shirwal Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a highly organized and analytical PPC Engineer to manage production planning and control functions in our sheet metal fabrication unit The role involves coordinating production schedules optimizing resource utilization and ensuring on-time delivery of fabricated components The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of sheet metal processes like laser cutting bending welding and powder coating Key Responsibilities Production Planning Develop and maintain daily weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer orders capacity and material availability Coordinate with sales design and purchase teams to align production targets with customer requirements Analyze job orders and convert them into detailed production plans with resource allocation Shop Floor Coordination Monitor work progress across all sheet metal operations cutting bending welding surface treatment and assembly Resolve bottlenecks and balance workloads to maintain efficient workflow Ensure timely issue of work orders drawings and material to production Inventory and Material Management Track raw material and component availability to avoid delays Coordinate with the stores and purchase team to ensure just-in-time material availability Process Control Monitoring Track production KPIs like output downtime rejection rate and delivery compliance Implement control measures to ensure on-time production and dispatch Work closely with quality and maintenance teams to avoid disruptions ERP and Documentation Manage data entry and updates in ERP MRP systems for production tracking Maintain accurate records of production plans deviations and output Qualifications Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field 2-5 years of experience in production planning preferably in a sheet metal fabrication or precision manufacturing industry Proficiency in ERP MRP software SAP Oracle or industry-specific tools Sound knowledge of sheet metal processes tooling machine capacities and cycle times Strong analytical and Excel skills Key Competencies Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment Strong communication and coordination skills Attention to detail and data accuracy Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Weekend availability Work Location In person
