Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Engineer with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Playwright testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation testing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality assurance. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify, report and troubleshoot defects
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Continuously improve test coverage and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
- Mentor junior automation testers and assist with their development

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in automation testing using Playwright
- Strong experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
