Job Title: Video Editor (Short-Form + Long-Form) Company Name: Zero Protocol Workplace Type: On-Site Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Employment Type: Full-time Salary: 30-40k/month (Subjected to experience) About the Job Zero Protocol is a bilingual (Telugu + English) podcast that dives deep into startups, identity, discipline, and inner growth — a rebellion in slow motion. We host founders, creators, and thinkers who are redefining success with clarity and calm. We’re looking for a story-driven Video Editor who can turn raw conversations into cinematic visual narratives. Someone who feels the rhythm of emotion and story structure as much as the beat of a timeline. Responsibilities • Edit and produce long-form podcast episodes (60–90 min) for YouTube and audio platforms. • Cut 8 – 12 shorts per week from each episode for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. • Design visually engaging titles, captions, and motion graphics aligned with the Podcast aesthetic. • Enhance audio, color grade, and balance sound levels to professional quality. • Maintain a consistent visual language across all formats. • Work with creative and social teams to craft stories that make people pause, think, and come back. • Stay updated on editing trends, styles, formats optimized for longform and shortform storytelling. Qualifications • 1 – 3 years of experience in video editing for podcasts, YouTube, or short-form content. • Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut for reels). • Strong sense of pacing, tone, and narrative editing — knowing what to cut and what to let breathe. • Experience with sound design and basic color correction. • Ability to translate emotion into visual rhythm through cuts and music choices. • Collaborative mindset — comfortable working with producers, hosts, and strategists. • Fluency in English (required); Telugu understanding (preferred). Skills • Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve • CapCut / After Effects (Basic Motion Design) • Sound Mixing / Mastering • Color Correction / Grading • Story Editing & Narrative Structure • YouTube and Reels Formatting (Aspect Ratios & Captions) • Thumbnail / Title Brainstorming • Time Management & Multi-project Handling Performance Metrics • Publish 8 – 12 high-retention shorts per week. • Deliver long-form episodes and shorts within 48 hours of recording. • Build a cohesive visual identity for Zero Protocol across platforms.
