Job Title Estimation and Billing Engineer Civil Engineering Location Kollam Company Deerhomes Realtors Pvt Ltd Job Type Full-time About Us Deerhomes is a leading architectural design and build firm that delivers innovative high-quality design and construction solutions With a focus on excellence we create spaces that are both functional and aesthetically captivating We are currently seeking a skilled Estimation and Billing Engineer with a civil engineering background to join our team and support our project management and financial operations Job Summary The Estimation and Billing Engineer will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates managing project budgets and overseeing billing processes You will work closely with architects project managers and contractors to ensure that all aspects of a project are well-estimated cost-effective and in compliance with client requirements This position requires a strong civil engineering background attention to detail and a solid understanding of construction methods and cost analysis Key Responsibilities Estimation Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for architectural and construction projects Review architectural drawings plans and specifications to identify potential costs and scope Conduct take-offs and material quantity surveys to determine project requirements Analyze project risks and provide cost-effective solutions to mitigate them Liaise with suppliers subcontractors and vendors to obtain quotations for materials and services Develop and maintain cost databases for future project references Billing Prepare and submit progress billing final billing and other project-related invoices Track project costs and ensure all changes and adjustments are reflected in billing Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely billing cycles Monitor and ensure that all financial aspects of the project are aligned with the budget Prepare final project account statements and cost reports for clients Project Management Support Assist project managers in tracking project progress costs and schedules Support in managing procurement processes and maintaining proper documentation Ensure that billing and estimates are in line with project milestones and timelines Perform site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design and cost plans Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost estimation billing and project management in the construction or architectural industry Strong knowledge of construction materials methods and cost analysis Proficiency in estimation software e g CostX ProEst or similar and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent understanding of construction contracts and project billing procedures Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical negotiation and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on innovative and high-profile architectural projects A dynamic and supportive work environment Career growth opportunities within a leading architectural design and construction firm How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter via Indeed We look forward to reviewing your application Job Type Full-time Pay From 25 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Required Experience Construction estimating 2 years Required Location Kollam Kerala Required Work Location In person
