You will be responsible for accurately coding diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with coding regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities - Review and analyze medical records and radiology reports to ensure accurate coding. - Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnostic imaging procedures. - Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding procedures and regulations in radiology. - Participate in quality assurance and coding audits. Skills and Qualifications - 1-5 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in radiology. - Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. - Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to radiology. - Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS) is preferred.
