Notably, myITreturn has contributed to several government initiatives, including the GST pilot system and managing the Central Data Processing Centre for the National Judicial Reference System. The company has a proven record of innovation in tax compliance and software solutions. Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in PHP/LAMP-based application development. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP (LAMP) Developer / Technical Lead who can architect, develop, and lead end-to-end web application projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong technologist with leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications using the LAMP stack. Architecture & Design: Create high-level and low-level software architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance. Project Leadership: Lead project execution, ensure timely delivery, allocate tasks, and track progress across the development lifecycle. End-to-End Ownership: Demonstrated experience across the full SDLC — from requirement analysis & technical planning, to development, deployment, and post-production support. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feasibility inputs, and deliver regular updates. Team Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and support skill development. Documentation: Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment playbooks Desired Candidate Profile Technical Skills: - Strong hands-on experience with LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). - Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns. - Strong command over PHP, MySQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning. - Experience with Web Services/API integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). - Working experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX. - Exposure to AWS Cloud Services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda (added advantage). - Proficient with coding standards, debugging, deployment tools, and version control systems (Git). - Good understanding of application security, scalability, and performance considerations. - Knowledge of microservices or distributed architecture (preferred but not mandatory). Soft Skills & Leadership: - Strong people management skills with prior experience leading a team. - Excellent communication and client-facing ability. - Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. - Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and perform under pressure. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
