You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable server-side applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle. What You'll Do: - Develop, test, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Node.js applications and services. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Design and implement APIs and microservices, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable architecture. - Work with both SQL (MS SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity. - Participate in the design and implementation of automation processes, including writing unit and integration tests. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues and product defects. - Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and deliverables by following best practices. - Collaborate on DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline integrations and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Continuously improve system architecture and contribute ideas to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. What We're Looking For: - 2-4 years of experience in backend development using Node.js. - Strong understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming concepts. - Experience building RESTful APIs and working with Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). - Solid knowledge of databases including MS SQL, MySQL, and NoSQL solutions. - Familiarity with front-end technologies (React.js, HTML, CSS) to facilitate smooth integration with front-end teams. - Strong grasp of software design principles including OOP, MVC, and microservices architecture. - Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Enzyme). - Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Working knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Git, and build automation tools (NPM, Webpack). - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Nice to Have: - Experience with Go Lang or other backend languages. - Exposure to serverless architecture or event-driven design. - Knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
