This Position reports to: Engineering Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: - Develop and deploy ongoing DCS system security strategies and engineering application standards and apply knowledge of security standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, or NERC CIP. - Define, design, and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions to mitigate advanced threats in diverse environments and work with firewalls, networking, and IDS/IPS systems. - Apply deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as defense-in-depth, network segmentation, security monitoring, incident response, access management, OT patch management, secure remote access, and anti-malware protection. - Adopt a security-focused mindset with expertise in OT environments, corporate application access control, network routing and packet analysis, and cyber threat analysis. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and act as a cybersecurity advocate across manufacturing and supply chain organizations. Qualifications for the role - 4+ Years of hands-on experience with managed switches, firewalls, and network analysis tools (e.g., Forescout). - Working knowledge of network monitoring systems (e.g., Nozomi) and SIEM platforms (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm). - Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in networking or cybersecurity. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Strong documentation skills for creating clear and consistent guidelines and customer documentation - Ability to work independently and in team settings and Willingness to travel as needed.
