Hiring: Team Leader - Motor Insurance Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and proactive Team Leader - Motor Insurance to lead our motor insurance claims or sales team. The Team Leader will be responsible for supervising day-to-day activities, guiding team members, ensuring targets and service standards are met, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of motor insurance policies, claims processes, and excellent leadership skills to motivate and manage a team effectively.Key Responsibilities:1. Team Management and Leadership Supervise and mentor a team of insurance claims executives or sales representatives focused on motor insurance. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching. Conduct team meetings to discuss targets, challenges, and process improvements. 2. Claims Processing / Sales Oversight Oversee motor insurance claims handling, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Guide the team in assessing, investigating, and settling motor insurance claims accurately and promptly. If sales-focused, monitor sales pipelines, lead generation, and closure rates for motor insurance products. 3. Customer Service and Quality Assurance Ensure the team maintains high customer service standards during interactions with policyholders, repair shops, and other stakeholders. Review and improve processes to reduce errors, disputes, and claim rejections. Handle escalated customer complaints or complex claims professionally. 4. Reporting and Documentation Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, claim statuses, sales targets, and customer feedback. Maintain accurate records of claims, investigations, and customer communications. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization. 5. Training and Development Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs for team members. Keep the team updated on changes in motor insurance regulations, policies, and company procedures. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. 6. Collaboration Coordinate with other departments such as underwriting, legal, and finance to resolve complex cases. Liaise with external partners like garages, surveyors, and regulators. Support senior management in strategic planning and implementation of new motor insurance initiatives.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of motor insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory environment. Proficient in insurance software and MS Office applications. Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Customer-focused with ability to handle escalations calmly.
