Role Description

This is a contract role for a Power BI Developer. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for creating and designing dashboards, developing data models, and implementing ETL processes. The successful candidate will analyze data, generate reports, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet business requirements. This is a hybrid role, based in Pune, with some work from home flexibility.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing data models and creating insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to support decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Report Development:Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI based on business requirements.
- Data Analysis:Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Data Modeling:Create and manage data models to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaboration:Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their reporting needs.
- Performance Optimization:Optimize reports and dashboards for performance and user experience.
- Documentation:Document reporting processes, data sources, and technical specifications.
- Support:Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI reports.

Qualifications:

- Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Experience:6+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query.
- Expertise with SQL and data querying.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Communication:Good communication skills to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
