Job Description Roles & Responsibilities - Part Revalidation - Check parts at the suppliers site to make sure they meet quality standards. - Perform inspections, measurements, and tests to verify part quality. CAPA Follow-up - Lead efforts to identify and solve quality problems (CAPA). - Track and ensure corrective actions are taken to fix issues and prevent them from happening again. Supplier Audits and Monitoring - Visit suppliers to check their quality processes and performance. - Monitor key metrics likePPM(parts per million) and give feedback to suppliers for improvement. Problem Solving - Investigate and solve quality issues using tools like 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams. - Work with suppliers to find and fix the root cause of problems. Continuous Improvement - Help improve quality and efficiency by suggesting process improvements. - Use methods likeLeanorSix Sigmato reduce defects. Documentation and Reporting - Keep accurate records of inspections, audits, CAPA actions, and test results. - Prepare reports to update management on quality performance. Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams likeEngineering,Manufacturing, andProcurementto meet quality goals. - Support suppliers in meeting quality standards and improve their processes. Training and Support - Provide guidance to suppliers on quality expectations and improvement practices. Risk Management - Identify and address risks related to supplier quality, ensuring smooth production. Compliance - Make sure all work follows industry standards and customer requirements.
