New position for FinOps Service and Governance Leader/Manager being created so as to establish a central governance and guidance practice in support of Project Activate 11.16 FinOps. - This position is the manager & contributor role who will be the FinOps service owner and directly supervise a team of 3 FinOps personnel - FinOps service effectively straddles between the two distinct worlds of tech and finance; with a primary mission of driving the company to be efficient with our commercial-cloud spends while keeping an eye on commercial spend commitment targets - This position is directly accountable to refine Project Activate 11.16 commitments, and is directly responsible for the resources direct, and matrix in order to achieve those commitments that are reported at the CEO level Demonstrable Experience Required - Leading a globalized team with resources in different areas of the globe through direct and matrix relationships - Belief in, and ability to explain/tech FinOps concepts as well as their practical/pragmatic application - Comprehension of Accounting and Business Finance terms, concepts and language - Competency with Azure Cost Management via Azure Portal - Competency with cloud cost management tooling example: Apptio Cloudability - Creating informative visualizations of complex sets of data to ensure fit-for-use business value Skills / Knowledge / Certifications Desired - FinOps certification from a recognized program - Development scripting languages: PowerBI, PowerShell, Azure-RM, Python, CURL/BASH etc - Kanban / Spring type agile methodologies and practices - GenAI interest and experience ideally with CoPilot or Azure AI Studio Benefits We are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
