You will be responsible for ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality before they reach our users. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on using modern JavaScript-based tools like Vitest for unit/integration testing and Playwright for end-to-end testing. You will be a critical part of our development lifecycle, helping us build reliable and bug-free software. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. ● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for browser automation and end-to-end testing. ● Write and run unit and integration tests using Vitest (or similar tools like Jest). ● Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects. ● Identify, document, and meticulously track bugs and inconsistencies in bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA). ● Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure features are testable. ● Advocate for software testing best practices throughout the development lifecycle. ● Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing clear feedback on quality and risk. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 1-2 years of professional experience in a software testing or QA role. ● Demonstrable, hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation. ● Hands-on experience with a modern JavaScript testing framework like Vitest (or strong experience with Jest). ● Solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an exceptional eye for detail. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Nice to Have ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). ● Experience with API testing (e.g., using Postman or automated scripts). ● Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. ● ISTQB certification or similar qualification. ● Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
