Technical expertise required - Experience in analogue design, including ADC types and selection for AC signal measurement, discrete circuit design using transistors and op-amps. - Microcontroller expertise – selection and peripheral utilisation. - Power supply design – SMPS, DC / DC converters, and LDOs. - Exposure to Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and its application in product design. - PCB design with DFM considerations and EMI / EMC compliance. - Proficient in component selection – op-amps, microcontrollers, power switches, transistors, diodes, and capacitors. - Familiarity with quality tools – 8D, FMECA, CAPA, and Why-Why analysis. - Understanding of part and product reliability. - RF design experience (applicable to RF projects). - Working knowledge of safety and EMI / EMC standards (IEC / FCC compliance). Key responsibilities - Understand and interpret product requirement specifications. - Support upfront technical architecture and high-level design to ensure manufacturability, serviceability, performance, reliability, cost, and feature alignment. - Collaborate with design engineers to develop analogue and digital circuits that meet functional, reliability, manufacturability, testability, and ergonomic requirements. - Maintain and enhance systems and development processes. - Manage projects to ensure timely delivery.
