Job Description

Role: SDET QA

Location: Chennai, Gurugram, Mumbai

Work Mode: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and cloud-based applications.
- Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Write Python-based automation scripts to validate application functionality and integration.
- Implement and maintain test pipelines within CI/CD environments (preferably GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Conduct database validation with both SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Contribute to cloud testing, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure environments.
- Explore and implement effective testing strategies for AI/GenAI-based systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and ethical AI standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed bug reports, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Advocate for best practices in test automation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience as an SDET/QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong expertise in API testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experience in testing strategies for AI/GenAI-based systems,
- Working experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
