Job Description Location: Preferred Goa (India), limited to India The Role You'll own both the Django backend and frontend delivery of Paraglyde.ai. You'll design APIs, implement UI logic, and manage everything from models to Docker deployments. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you'll help define the product, the stack, and the engineering culture. What You'll Do - Own full-stack development: backend in Django + Django REST Framework, frontend in Django templates or React components. - Build and refine APIs for tenant-aware projects, tasks, and automation pipelines. - Implement modern UIs dynamic dashboards, live updates, and real-time interactions. - Lead deployment workflows using Docker, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, and Ubuntu-based production servers. - Configure and maintain PostgreSQL, Redis, and Nginx for scalable, secure multi-tenant performance. - Ensure web security best practices HTTPS, CSRF/CORS, input validation, and secure authentication. - Establish technical standards (Git branching, CI/CD, code reviews) and guide future hires. Tech Stack Backend: Django, Django REST Framework, Django Tenants Frontend: Django templates, Vanilla JS / HTMX / React (preferred) Database: PostgreSQL (schema-based multi-tenant) Async / Queue: Celery + Redis Infra: Docker, Nginx, GitHub Actions, Ubuntu Cloud: Hetzner / DigitalOcean / AWS (S3 for backups, Certbot + Cloudflare DNS automation) What You Bring - 5+ years building production Django applications. Experience with django-tenants,PostgreSQL, Celery and django ecosystem. - Strong grasp of frontend fundamentals HTML, CSS, JavaScript, templating, and modern UI logic. - Solid understanding of Docker, Git, and Linux server environments. - Working knowledge of networking basics ports, DNS, proxies, and SSL/TLS. - Strong attention to security, performance, and maintainability. - Startup-ready mindset: self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable with autonomy. Nice-to-Have - Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures. - Familiarity with Celery, Redis, and async job queues.
