Required Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years of experience inin Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, Dataplex, Cloud Data Fusion, and Cloud Composer.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines using GCP tools and services.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex data issues.
- Experience with data profiling, data quality assessment, and data cleansing techniques.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for GCP data solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and stakeholders on data engineering best practices and GCP tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or similar industry certifications.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Familiarity with BI data visualization tools is a plus.
